If your blog lists your individual posts in order of the date that they were published, like most blogs do, then the older your blog post gets, the lower down the website architecture it goes. Optimizing your website will invariably lead to more organic traffic later on in the life of that website, so there’s no reason you shouldn’t do it. If a site links to you using the ’nofollow’ meta tag then their website’s authority won’t be passed to you. Some publishers automatically nofollow all external links, which is bad practice. Nofollow links should be reserved for sponsored or paid for links and content you don’t necessarily trust but still want to use as an example. Keyword research is the basis of all search marketing. It is the art of explaining what you do in the language that people use, and thus it should probably be the basis of all your marketing activities, both on and off the web.
What does a good Backlink Profile look like?
In many cases, the higher you are on page one the more traffic you will receive. The farther down your content is positioned on the page of results, the fewer people will click on your content listing and visit your website.
Search engine do
not give you links that are counted to your link popularity. You need to write content that others want to link to. And in my opinion, if you are not passionate about what you are writing, then it will be hard to get links pointing to your content. Content is king when it comes to SEO. You can’t have an SEO campaign without content; it’s the fuel that makes SEO work. When deciding which keywords to go after, you could also use a tool, but simply googling your keywords will also give you insight into the difficulty to rank for a certain search term.
Mix the methods up
Just by increasing your search ranking and where your website places on Google doesn’t mean you’re going to get all of a sudden get that flood of traffic that you want. When building your
content, it’s important to remember to give the
crawlers enough to bite into. A hundred words typically isn’t enough copy
for these crawlers to read and understand what the content is about. And
this content shouldn’t be stuffed with keywords either, as some search
engines (as you’ll learn in later sections) punish websites for keyword
stuffing. There are some legitimate concerns about SEO for newcomers; it isn’t a strategy you can master quickly, nor is it guaranteed to pay off. Stop using keywords in your titles. Why? Because if you don’t know how to optimize a Web page without stuffing your title, then you don’t know how to optimize a Web page. Titles and URLs are options, not requirements, in search engine optimization. Learn to understand and fully appreciate the difference between being able to do something and needing to do something.
Engage with influencers
If you’re a bit familiar with the ways of SEO, you’ll be aware that duplicate content is a problem that can happen to anyone and could seriously harm your rankings. But in some cases, it’s difficult to know where you stand. Creating an SEO strategy can give your company and brand a boost in the search engines. Why not improve your ROI today? The first thing you need to do is figure out who your ideal customer is. Think about where they are and the problems they are facing. What questions do they have that need answers? Once you have a clear picture of their issues in your mind, you should tailor your content to them.

Writing tags is the starting point of the entire flow of your SEO copywriting
The process of optimization is not a one-time process but requires maintenance, tuning, and continuous testing and monitoring. One good way
to know what’s coming in the world of SEO is to keep your eyes peeled to industry news sites and specifically Google’s own blog. Some users might link to your page using the URL of that page as the
anchor text. If your URL contains relevant words, this provides
users and search engines with more information about the page
than an ID or oddly named parameter would. In the same way that it takes time to improve your SEO rankings with improvements built up over time, the reverse is true for when you stop optimising your website. At first, your rankings will continue as before but over time you’ll notice that your website rankings will start to drop. Algorithm updates, competitor improvements and loss of links will all negatively impact on your rankings and put you back to square one.
