Whenever your URL changes, think of what you may have going on that’s attached to those URLs. It’s important to have breadcrumbs on your website. They show users how a page fits into the structure of a site, and allow search engines to determine the site’s structure. One of my firm beliefs is that Google is becoming more and more ‘human,’ and should be treated that way. This means that in all your SEO efforts, you should consider the use for us human visitors first, and then check if that aligns with any SEO recommendations. Content marketing can be very effective in increasing traffic, generating leads, enabling sales – and contributing to SEO.

A successful company will have a strategy for both desktop and mobile

Keyword research is something that needs focus and attention. It’s something you should take seriously. Without proper keyword research, you could well be optimizing your texts for the wrong search terms. Good SEO means forgetting SEO and concentrating on your user then. And it also means forgetting SEO in that you are going to be trying to merge your different marketing strategies in order to create one bigger approach. It means trying to write amazing posts and share them on SEO so that you get more links and it means writing great content that keeps people on your page longer. When people search for things that match up with what your website offers, the higher your site is on the SERP (search engine result page), the more traffic you will receive. Originally devised as a way to combat comment spam, when a nofollow attribute is added to a link it tells search engines that your link to it isn't necessarily a vote of confidence.

The hardest part of SEO is good external link acquisition campaigns

Since heading tags typically make text contained in them larger than normal text on the page, this is a visual cue to users that this text is important and could help them understand something about the type of content underneath the heading text. One of the most common problems for webmasters who run both mobile and desktop versions of a site is that the mobile version of the site appears for users on a desktop computer, or that the desktop version of the site appears when someone accesses it on a mobile device. Gaz Hall, an SEO Expert from the UK, said: "Is your website available in different languages or country versions? Awesome! Don’t forget to notify search engines of this. The search engines will then display the content of your website in the respective country and language versions for users. This improves usability since users are immediately redirected to the desired version in the SERPs. "

SEO brings in traffic, and gives your revenues a big hike

Optimizing performance, however, is a continuous process. Your site will never be fast enough because there’s always more to improve. A sitemap is another place to add in more internal links. A sitemap is a central location with links to all your pages.
