Integrate selected keywords into your website source code and existing content on designated pages. An SEO strategy that builds your website’s relevancy and authority in the desired geographic area will ensure the site will be visible for a variety of search phrases. This increases the number of opportunities for your website to be seen among results. There is a massive amount of content available on the internet, but none is more important to website owners and marketers than search engine results pages (SERPs). To attract online attention for your business, you can’t just set up a website and social media profile and expect the traffic to roll in. You need to position your brand to show up in online search by utilizing search engine optimization (SEO).
Are you getting enough regular inquiries and sales?
Create a post-specific resource, and offer it for download in exchange for the email address of your visitors. When the resource is post-specific, readers are more likely to engage with the campaign, in turn boosting conversions. It appears that
when attempting to improve search engine ranking for a web-site, a position in the top six of the search engine results page has never been more important. Even web pages that currently have a top search engine ranking cannot afford to be complacent. Like many of the other parts of the page targeted for optimization, filenames and alt text (for ASCII
languages) are best when they're short, but descriptive. The problem with directories: A good directory’s intent is to categorize
the internet into different categories/subcategories, while providing links
to good websites in those categories. Although there are legitimate
directory websites, many were built solely for the purpose of building links
back to webpages without consideration of link quality. This is the wrong
way to build links.
Get traffic, get conversions
People like to be engaged and feel involved. Having a question as a title will start a conversation by piquing people’s interests. They will want to know what the answer is. Doing research on your targeted audience will help you come up with questions to ask. (Ideally, they should be questions members of your audience would naturally ask.) Make sure the
article is easy to read, even to those who are new to the topic. Articles that are easy to read will result in less bounce rates and higher conversion rates. The canonical URL tells you / Google what the source of a page is. Writing for humans is just the first part of your SEO strategy and one that works with our next tactic, namely giving visitors what they want. As well as great quality content you need a website that is easy to use and provides a great user experience – in other words, don’t make your visitors think. If your website is hard to navigate, information is difficult to find or the design is too busy then visitors are unlikely to stick around no matter how well written your content is.
Site owners should always research an SEO consultant or SEO agency before hiring
Google has built a giant database of hundreds of trillions of webpageswhich its algorithm then analyzes and ranks. It does this by sending out scores of digital robots, or “spiders,” which visit page after page. They “click on” the links on each page to see where they lead. Parallax design is a website design approach that’s been used for several years now and takes its name from the concept of parallax movement. Instead of linking from one entire webpage to another, the visitor moves up and down on the same webpage. Not every link is created equal. Every site has links that are less important or link to pages that don’t change (e.g., a site map or your About Me page). Use the NoFollow tag for those links. In addition to low priority links, Google suggests using the NoFollow tag for untrusted content and paid links. If you have text link ads on your site, make sure they’re tagged as NoFollow. We asked an
SEO Specialist, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "To understand the challenge you face to rank well in your niche, or to steal ideas on how to get started, turn to your competitors. By taking a deep look at the links they’ve earned, and how they got them, you’ll uncover tactics you can replicate, plus get inspiration for your own fresh ideas."
Intrigue your audience to stick around
The increasing dominance of visual content online has brought with it new opportunities for increasing a site’s search traffic by optimizing videos and images. Google has stated
that meta descriptions are NOT a ranking signal. But, the quality of the description will influence click-through rate, so it is very important to use this element wisely… Avoid elements that annoy visitors. You might think that a cool pop-up will make people sign up for your great e-book, but that popup might just as easily make them surf away from your site altogether. Keep in mind, when a searcher goes to your site, then quickly clicks the back button and chooses another result; Google and Bing are not looking kindly at you. A Dofollow is any link that hasn’t been coded as a Nofollow, this code is a sign for search engines not to count the link. The absence of a Nofollow code automatically makes the link a Dofollow which is great for SEO. Google won’t penalise sites that it can trust and so, it will never hurt to be connected with a dependable domain. Because of this, older websites have proven to be more reliable and preferred by Google as opposed to cheap websites or black hat spam.
