One of the main ways to increase SEO traffic is to experiment with the meta title and meta description you have on your page. Flexing this can increase your clickthrough rate from the search engine results page, and can affect what keywords you rank for. A big part of effectively writing for Internet users and search engines alike is to understand the human user's psyche while also feeding the search engines the relevancy they need to consider ranking the page for a given topic. To optimize your keyword research for local SEO, brainstorm keywords or phrases with a geo-modifier that customers might use when searching for a business like yours. The problem is, not all backlinks are the same. A large and authoritative site in your niche may be more powerful than many general blogs with little or spammy backlinks. It’s important not to waste your time creating content for sites that won’t help you rank, but how do you determine if a site is worth getting a link from?
Use each keyword carefully
Most companies use SEO to increase website traffic, which in turn, increases revenue. SEO is not
the techniques we use to get our sites to the top of Google. SEO is simply the objective of getting to the top of Google. Any technique you use to try and get more attention from Google could be considered SEO. Content Marketing involves creating and sharing content online such as blogs, videos, or social posts to create interest around your brand and business. While the way you craft your content and the copy of your website obviously have an affect on your SEO, it’s important not to forget about the quality and whether people will actually want to read/ watch what you have to offer. Linking to highly popular or trusted websites, news pages, blogs and message boards is an excellent way to add credibility to your own website. If you’re pulling proof for the claims you make from sources which a majority of other people already trust, it can only help you to make more conversions from your website visitors and ultimately lead to an increase in sales.
SEO can help you with your offline sales
Real SEO is all about helping Google understand the content of your website. It’s about steering, guiding and assisting Google. Not manipulating it. Currently more than
half of searches account for mobile devices. As Google continues to prioritize the user experience in its algorithm, this data can become critical. It’s one thing to provide a list of items that generally lead to a better user experience (like we did above), but it’s another thing completely to be able to address extremely specific elements of that experience. Stop marketing to audiences and instead market to customers at scale.
Keep Your Content Simple
Although Google hasn’t officially declared it, there is evidence to suggest that this search engine giant does reward sites with strong user engagement with higher page ranking. Your website won’t be found if people have to search too hard for it. “Ranking” for specific keywords relating to your industry and services is the first step in this process. When customers see their searched-for terms in your title and meta description, they will be more likely to click it. Sometimes knowing why you’re doing something can make all the difference. Gaz Hall, a
Freelance SEO Consultant, commented: "All your citations (an online reference to your business including your NAP) need to be consistent, so as you start building them (see below), make sure that firstly, your NAP is correct, and the same (so Google & Bing can see the connection)."
Garner high-quality backlinks
The quality of the content is vastly important to SEO. How well-written is it? Is it riddled with spelling and grammatical errors or is it error-free? My suggestion would
be not to shoot press releases in all directions for the sole purpose of building links. Be very genuine of the purpose of writing your press release. The link structure of the Web serves to bind together all of the pages that have been made public as a result of someone linking to them. Through links, search engines’ automated robots, called crawlers or spiders, can reach the many billions of interconnected documents. Follow links are links that Google bots and humans can follow. The bot reaches the links and then continues onto the next page, bringing some value from the source site.
