You want to give the user the exact information that they searched for and entice them to explore your site with easy-to-understand navigation to create a seamless, satisfying experience for a new customer. Aside from on-site optimization and content marketing, the most important element of your strategy is your link building campaign -- otherwise known as off-site optimization. Keyword page density is a measure of the relative frequency of the word in the text expressed as a percentage. For example, if a specific word is used 5 times on a page containing 100 words, the keyword density is 5%. If the density of a keyword is too low, the search engine will not pay much attention to it. Continually add keyword-rich content to your website to make it an authority on a particular topic. As you add more and more content to your website it will become more attractive to people seeking out information on your topic and people will be more likely to tell others about your great site. As search engine crawlers visit your site, they will keep encountering new material, which will encourage them to visit more frequently. The more frequently the search engine crawlers visit, the better.
Distribute page authority and ranking power throughout the site
Over the years many people have tried to game the system by creating content that is stuffed full of keywords in the hope that repeating their keyword phrases over and over again will in some way get them to the top spot of Google. While this tactic may have worked in the 90’s and early 2000’s it is time to put this to bed and stop creating content that is written solely for the search engines. These search engines have evolved and now recognise and reward natural language so the best piece of advice is to write naturally and for humans. Google has worked to
smash black-hat and spam-based link-building practices, penalizing link wheels, exchanges and paid links. In 2012 the Penguin update ushered in the link building reality we experience today. With it only natural link accumulation will gain your website & webpages authority. You want to be attracting users who are going to convert and remain loyal to your site and this can be done by delivering on your promise of quality content. To facilitate this, you need to offer clarity in your website headlines so as not to confuse or mislead anyone. When I am reading articles, therefore a potential consumer, I have no idea whether a link is follow or nofollow. Clearly, a huge majority of people will not have the slightest idea that such a distinction exists! If I am intrigued by what is written about your product or service, I will click. If I really like what I see on your site, I may buy. The type of link will not be in my thoughts.
Understand and implement entities
Google will show less information in the search results on mobile than on a desktop. Your meta descriptions and your titles will be truncated if you made them too long. Thinks about that when you optimize your posts and pages. Ensure the number of
visits and new visitors from within your target market is increasing. Here′s what I can say, and it′s not a personal opinion, but a common fact: PPC brings results fast, but you have to pay all the time. The sums get rather big. And you never know for sure, whether PPC will pay for itself, or it′s just money down the drain. Links are the most important factor in Google’s ranking algorithms. That’s why so many people tried to manipulate the links that point to their websites in the past.
Be very sure of what you are writing
Site speed is an essential element of any campaign and for good reasons. You’ve also got to prioritize index and site structure when reviewing your technical SEO – obvious choices but absolutely paramount. Whereas a
page's title may be a few words or a phrase, a page's description meta
tag might be a sentence or two or a short paragraph. An SEO strategy that builds your website’s relevancy and authority in the desired geographic area will ensure the site will be visible for a variety of search phrases. This increases the number of opportunities for your website to be seen among results. According to Gaz Hall, a UK SEO Consultant
: "Quality will win over quantity every time and your results will not be nearly as fruitful if you’re putting out mediocre content."
Understanding the rationale behind subheadings
Make sure the site makes good use of anchor text in its internal links. This is a free opportunity to inform users and search engines what the various pages of your site are about. Don’t abuse it, though. Every website has a
robots.txt; this gives robots/crawlers/spiders a bunch of rules to follow, such as where they can/can’t crawl, and the pages they can/can’t index. You can check whether a URL is blocked by robots.txt with Google’s Robots Testing Tool. Just typing in an incomplete search term will result in a whole lot of unnecessary results which might not be what you are looking for. The biggest SEO mistake you can make during a website redesign is to not think about SEO until it’s too late. If you don’t have SEO in mind from the initial strategy session, you’re going to lose what you took so much time and effort to build.
