Whether you migrate to HTTPS for SEO or security, it’s now evident that using HTTPS is quickly becoming a necessity for most websites. Having keywords in your domain URL can also give you a small SEO boost. The length of search phrases continues to grow. Back when the Internet was just an upstart, single keywords were the only thing you needed. Dynamic serving takes a different approach. It uses server-side technology to serve a different version of your site to mobile users, depending on the way they access your site. The URL stays the same, but the files sent differ completely.
Sprinkle LSI keywords liberally
Great content marketing is essentially the bait you put on the end of your hook to attract the fishes. And SEO, in this analogy, is the fishing rod. SEO and Content Marketing work together to not only reel in your audience, but also keep them revisiting your page and engaging with your website (all good stuff). It's not actually
that difficult to get on page 1 of Google in a search (but that depends on the search!) You need to know your market and you need to have a good understanding of SEO and how to use keywords. You also need some time, I'm not selling magic online marketing wands - if you know someone who is, please hook me up! The more likely potential visitors are to think your site will provide an answer to their search query, the more traffic a page will gain. The best domain names are short, snappy, include your best keywords, easy to remember, and easy to spell. Including keywords in your domain name will be useful for sites like Bing in particular that place great emphasis on including keywords.
Keyword research is the practice of finding the terms that people enter into search engines
You might think that it is pointless to start learning SEO tips and tricks as the algorithms of search engines keep changing. That may be true to some extent but you’ll also notice that the points we will talk about below, have been there from the start and still play a vital role. Any link to
another part of the same site is called an internal link. As well as links you'd expect to find (within a site menu bar, for example) you can also create internal links by linking to past posts within newer ones. When you write headlines, it is not absolutely mandatory that you use keyphrases, but you get a decent bump in the search engines for putting them in headlines which are bolded with a larger font than the other text and capitalized. CTR gives some insight into how likely potential visitors are to actually click on your site in the SERPs.
Talk to your customers
When approaching other webmasters to link to your site; it's really important to “suggest” suitable text for them to use; i.e link code that will have the most suitable link text for your site. Arguably, one of the most crucial aspects of on-page SEO is tags. Whether it’s title tags, header tags, meta tags or blog post tags, they have been demonstrated to increase traffic and boost engagement. Some mobile sites refuse access to anything but mobile phones,
making it impossible for Googlebot to access the site, and therefore
making the site unsearchable. According to
SEO Consultant, Gaz Hall: "I do not think Google title and H1 tags need to exactly be the same. They need to serve the same objective not to confuse the audience of that website, but they need not be identical. "
No-follow all backlinks
Link building is always a hot topic within the SEO industry but it is getting harder and harder to secure quality links that won’t get you penalised, if Google web spam team decide to perform a manual review on your website. The day may
come when links are less important to rankings, but that day hasn’t arrived yet. If your already-designed website is not mobile friendly, it may be quite costly to make the site responsive. Responsive is the term for a website’s ability to adapt visually and operationally to a variety of dimensions and properly display on various handheld devices. Social signals may not play a direct role in ranking your site. But social shares generate more eyeballs on your content. And the more eyeballs you get, the more likely someone is to link to you.
